Nothing Really Comes to Mind
Nothing really comes to mind
Another opinionated issue of mine
Pops in just to say hi
But it's not the one I wanted to find
Un-researched agendas left behind
Bitter judgements with words unkind
Things we do and shit we buy
So surprised by another politician's lie
Entrepreneurs make millions as soldiers die
Corrupt men of law with their pockets lined
We're dosed up on pollution and fluoride
Programmed into our daily grind
As religious leaders molest your child
Nope.
None of this really comes to mind.
Just another long lost heart
in this immense and long lost world
A dreadful need of rest
as anxieties are unfurled
Empathy is perverted
and modesty is molested
Open minds are murdered
and nobody is contested
Love is to be defined
or labeled by religious belief
Hate is RE-defined
but I'm turning over a new leaf
Everyone is poor
Every body is hungry
Every different child a retard
But you don't have to worry cause you can just put it on your card!
Just stick it in
Now swipe it fast
Sign your name here
Don't worry it's 0% APR until the end of the year!
Bills piling up?
Pushed back each month?
Coveting others much?
Look around for more answers like the final mortgage ad on the side of that bus!
Spend! Spend! Spend!
Charge! Charge! Charge!
Lend. Lend. Lend.
We're just a giant payday loan building interest without dividends.

Randomized Lines of Rhyme
Baby powder odor fills the air
Old lady aura sticks as if in it's own lair
Punch it in the face if I dare
Released bowels should create an even better scare.
My douchebag face judged time and time again
If we can't take it then we can't call ourselves men
Unacquainted yet lost loves enter bubble
These things however, well, they only cause trouble
Just want to write it all down
out of mind out of sight
Need to express why I frown
enjoy your day, I'll love my night
Be a cannibalistic mental zombie and chew on my thoughts
Randomized lines of rhyme,
ya, I got lots
Should we be excited for our future?
Or should we just take it all to the butcher?
All in a personal bubble;
All unnecessarily causing trouble;
All living, dying, and populating;
All for a cause whilst still and/or laying.
Stab the branch into the eyes of the man in the mirror.
Stop pointing at the sliver that somehow makes them inferior.
Pick up your fucking cross and throw it in the pile,
Ignite the fire,
and let them see your guilt burn for miles.

Find Your Peace Already
Why did one's opinion
become higher than the next?
On our fingers we spin on
thinking ourselves to be vastly complex.
Telling each other whom to love
with voices tattooed with a cross.
Heaven descends upon us like a dove
as we cover our tracks with dirt and moss.
Take up your sword and shield!
Book in hand and faith in mind.
Place blade to the gut and do not yield;
for in seppuku is the only peace you will find.
Contentment can be found
Not to be searched in sight or sound
A place inside
reached
by letting go
But here I fall and fail
Like a dog I tuck my tail
The anchored ship will never sail
And on this blade I do impale
And all these "things"?
Well, they are MINE!!
And on this feast I will surely dine
I'll swallow it up to keep it close
And on MY things I will overdose
For contentment can be found
Not to be searched in sight or sound
A place inside only
reached
by letting go
Only got one life to live by nowhalejokes81, literature
Literature
Only got one life to live
Only got one life to live
With several responses to give
One soul with interchangeable purpose
One mind in constant wanderlust
Wanting to call one place home
Only to find it in a tomb
Sitting in one place with no want to be
In just one blink it has all been seen
A lust for life with love undefined
One question with no answer to find
One body without desires fulfilled
One heart with plenty of blood to spill
So many ideas that continue to live
And yet still only one life to give
Too many choices
Too many thoughts
Too many ideas, ponderings, and convictions
Too many choices
Too many people
Too many children
Too many homeless, jobless, and hungry
Too many people
Too many buildings
Too many houses
Too many gas stations, banks, and shopping malls
Too many buildings
Too many people
Too many choices
